November — La Plata | Berisso | Ensenada | Argentina
Under the theme of “The Real,” the Freezer International Photography Festival celebrates its third edition in November 2026 in the cities of La Plata, Berisso, and Ensenada, Argentina. During the festival, photographers, artists, researchers, publishers, and the public will come together for a program that combines exhibitions, talks, workshops, and a book fair to foster connections with the local and international photography community.
At Freezer ‘26, we invite photographers and visual artists from around the world to submit projects that explore this territory in relation to the real, in its deepest sense: photography as a search for connection, what inspires us, archives, materiality as object, as the space where the real insists on being found. If photography exists between what it shows and what it doesn’t: can the image be reality?
Calls for entries are now open for our festival in the following categories:
⭐️ Photo Exhibitions
⭐️ Photography and Related Fields Book Fair
⭐️ Photobook Selection
You have until August 23, 2026, to register at festival.freezer.com.ar/2026
🤍 With great pride, this edition of Freezer was also selected to be part of the 8th University Biennial of Art and Culture at the National University of La Plata for the exhibition of @ausenciasgustavogermano, within the framework of the third edition of our festival.
