OPEN CALL — GROUP EXHIBITION
SAVE / DIE / RETRY
What happens when a world can return to an earlier state, but the person experiencing it cannot?
Digital systems allow us to save, reset, reload, respawn, and try again. A character can return. A choice can be undone. A world can begin exactly where it began before.
Yet every repetition leaves something behind.
The system resets; memory accumulates.
SAVE / DIE / RETRY invites artists to explore the tension between reversible digital time and irreversible human experience. We are interested in works engaging memory, repetition, save states, loops, death and respawn, virtual identity, artificial intimacy, altered timelines, digital relationships, and the emotional consequences of beginning again.
The exhibition asks what remains when systems forget but people remember—and whether something that returns without its previous history can ever truly be the same.
We welcome submissions across a wide range of practices, including but not limited to 2D and 3D work, video, animation, interactive media, games, digital art, installation, and experimental forms.
