Turku Artists’ Association 103rd Annual Exhibition Open Call

Open Call for Turku Artists’ Association 103rd Annual Exhibition! Applications are accepted 24 Aug – 27 Sept 2026.
The exhibition year 2027 at Iso Gallery of Turku Art Hall will open with the 103rd Annual Exhibition of Turku Artists’ Association, held 22 January – 7 March 2027.
The Annual Exhibition will be curated by Niina Tanskanen (MA). Tanskanen is a freelance curator and art producer based in Turku. For the past four years she has been in charge of exhibitions at Aboa Vetus Ars Nova, and currently serves, among other roles, as the residency coordinator at Life on a Leaf. The curator will also select the Turku Artists’ Association Artist of the Year 2027 from among the participating artists. The selected artist will be granted an exhibition slot at Iso Gallery of Turku Art Hall in 2028.
Artists and art students residing in Finland Proper are eligible to propose works for the Annual Exhibition. Members of the Turku Artists’ Association are eligible to apply regardless of where they live. The selection of works will be made anonymously based on the submitted material.
The application deadline is 27 Sept 2026 at 23:59 (Finnish time). Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be informed of the results by the end of October. The curator and Turku Artists’ Association will not provide rationale for the selections.
