Tokyo Biennale is seeking artists, curators, researchers, and collectives to develop new site-responsive projects through research, local collaboration, and public presentation in Tokyo. Selected participants receive travel support, accommodation, project funding, an honorarium, venue coordination, and translation support.
This is an excellent opportunity for artists working in performance, socially engaged practice, installation, curating, research, and interdisciplinary art who want to develop a project through meaningful engagement with a city rather than simply present finished work.
